List of experts and resources on peri/menopause!
I turn 45 in a few months and so a main topic of conversation amongst my friends and I is - perimenopause!
We are constantly trying to decipher bodily changes as a hormonal/gut/lifestyle/stress/neuro-type symptom!
It’s practically a full-time job! Oh the fun age we live in.
I put a call out in my social media Stories for suggestions around the best people to follow in the menopause space and I was aware of a few of them but got a whole bunch of new people and resources to explore.
So here’s the list! None of these are endorsed or vetted by me - this was my community’s suggestions of people and places that helped them, in no particular order.
Feel free to add your suggestions below too!

Book - Menopause Matters

I just put out a mega episode on Menopause, Perimenopause, and aging with intention with 3 interview subjects. It's called "Hot Menopause Summer" and there's a companion piece here on Substack too. My podcast is called "Actual People" and this was my season 1 finale. I'm really proud of it. It's funny, insightful, and helped me see we're all in this together. It's not a perfect time in life but no time in life is. There are so many great things about being past the angst of the child-bearing years.
I would add Stacy Sims whose book Next Level is a must-read for women wanting to stay active and be at their physical best during peri and menopause.
I'm also a health coach who helps women over 40 lose unwanted weight and have a free FB group where I share a ton of evidence-based information and strategies:
